Tucker (and others)

First is a lazy selfportrait sort of thing,
second is Malcolm Tucker (Peter Capaldi) from the brilliant tv series The Thick of It,
third is a logo I did for Madame Risquée's Amsterdam Burlesque Weekend.

I think this project month has been the best thing to happen to me when it comes to getting rid of that art block and finding motivation to draw again. Good times.

Collage

(Old work, from late '10/early '11, I think. )

"Your work is too comic-like, I don't think you really belong here."

And that's when I quit Fine Art and went for Comic Design instead.

Julian

Poster assignment~
We had to pick a political person (or yourself) and create a poster,
highlighting both good and bad sides of said person.

I'm not sure how well it works, but at least it was fun to do!

Catbot5000

I was going to make a 7 page comic of this for some cat art contest,
but then I realised I had homework to do.  ;_;

(So then I dropped the whole thing, and made an illustration instead..)

Lifedrawing 4

For the past couple of lifedrawing classes, I've been working in my A5 sketchbook instead of on A3 or even A2 paper, and I dunno, it's much nicer to work with.
